ファースト・ステップはキリスト教の基礎を学ぶ教材です。クリスチャンとして生きることは、まず神であるイエス・キリストのことを知ることからはじまります。そしてイエスが唯一真実の神であることを信じ、人生でイエスだけを信頼して生きる決意をすることによって、私たちはイエスについていく者、つまりイエスの弟子になることができます。それが、クリスチャンとして生きるということです。
ファースト・ステップでは、神がどういった方であるか、この世におられるときにイエス・キリストはなにをされたのか、福音とはなにかといったことを学び、クリスチャンとして生きるための基本的なことを学んでいきます。
この学びをする上で、イエスと十二弟子がどんなときもいっしょにいて過ごされたように、私たちがイエスの弟子となるための基礎的なことを他者との関係性の中で学ぶことはとても重要です。ぜひこの学びを、いまイエスの弟子として生きている人といっしょに学び、その人の生き方を模範にして、クリスチャンとして生きることを学んでいきましょう。

First Steps is a 5 lesson introduction to the basics of Christianity. Living as a Christian begins with knowing Jesus Christ who is God. By believing that Jesus is the one true God, and by trusting Him alone in our lives, you can become a follower of Jesus, that is, a disciple of Jesus. That is what it means to live as a Christian.
In the First Steps, we learn about God, what Jesus Christ did while He was on earth, what the gospel is, and the basics of living as a Christian.
To be a disciple of Jesus, it is also very important to learn the basics in relational settings
like Jesus and His disciples were together all the time. We highly recommend that you study with someone who is already a disciple of Jesus and learn from the model how to live as a Christian.
